BEESWAX WRAP - OUR REUSABLE FOOD WRAP

At Haps Nordic, we look both forward and backward in time when developing our products. That's why you'll also find beeswax paper for wrapping food in our range. Historically, beeswax has been used as a natural impregnation, and the combination of cotton canvas and beeswax provides an environmentally friendly alternative to tin foil and cling film, which, in contrast, is more breathable.

ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY BEESWAX FOOD WRAP IN DIFFERENT SIZES

Beeswax wrapping paper can be used for everything from bread and fruit to covering salad bowls, leftovers from dinner, or your sandwiches. With beeswax wrapping paper, you can easily, naturally, and sustainably wrap your food. Our beeswax canvas can be used for almost all types of food, but due to the risk of bacterial growth, it should not be used for fresh, unprocessed meat. Beeswax wraps from Haps Nordic is made of 100% GOTS-certified cotton (organic cotton) treated with a mixture of beeswax and jojoba oil. This makes the beeswax paper pliable and lightly water-resistant while remaining breathable. This helps keep the food fresh.

HOW TO USE AND CLEAN BEESWAX WRAPPING PAPER

Fold your beeswax wraps around the food or bowl. The heat from your hands softens them, making them easy to mold around the food. The beeswax wrapping paper stiffens again as it cools, ensuring a snug fit.
Clean the beeswax paper with mild soap in cool water. Pat dry with a tea towel or allow it to air dry. This way, your beeswax wraps will last for at least a year."
